Reimagining the Chess Set

I have had the pleasure of observing traditional instruments such as the violin be completely reinvented in their appearance to suit unconventional artists such as LindseyStirling.

I took inspiration from her violin, the Yamaha SV-250 Silent Violin Pro. As a chess player, I feel like the game's traditional look could use an upgrade as well. So I started my concept with the chess piece with the most personality, the knight. From this starting point, the plan is to create the entire board in a similar style.
